Culver Summertime

Culver offers golf, biking, swimming, sailing, skiing, fishing, scuba diving and boating.  Lake Maxinkuckee has ten miles of gradually sloping shore lines.  The Culver Town Park offers swimming, a Beach Lodge with dressing rooms and refreshments.  Also available are picnic tables, grills, children’s play area and a courtesy pier for temporary docking.

Public Access is available near the southwest side of the lake.  One of Indiana’s top fishing lakes, Lake Maxinkuckee has opportunities to catch perch, bluegill, small and large mouth bass, trout and is considered one of Indiana’s best walleye lakes.

The Culver Academies and the Maxinkuckee Country Club both have 9 hole course open to members and their guests.  Both courses were originally designed by the famous Langsdon and Moreau team, who designed nearly 240 courses in the 1920’s and 1930’s.
